Here are **30 fun activities** with little kids that you can do and are exciting and fun. These exercises help develop their strength, coordination, flexibility, and motor skills, and of course, not boring.

 

1. Animal Walks

   Bear Crawl: Lie on the floor, then crawl on your hands and feet, with your hips high

   Crab Walk:  Sit on the floor, lift your hips and walk like a crab.

   Frog JumpsCrouch down and spring forward like a frog.


2. Obstacle Course

      Set up a fun course with things to climb, jump over, and crawl under. Time each                other for extra fun!


3. Jump Rope

     Try single jumps, double jumps, or crisscross to improve agility and coordination.


4. Hula Hoop Challenge

      Use a hula hoop and spin it around your waist, arms, and legs. How long can you              keep it spinning?


5. Dance Party

      Play energetic music and have a dance-off. This activity burns energy and                          improves coordination.


6. Balloon Volleyball

      Play volleyball using a balloon to improve hand-eye coordination and reflexes.


7. Superhero Workout

     Use your moves like a superhero-flying (jumping), squats (power poses), and lunges           (leaping across the room).


8. Balancing Obstacles

      Walk on a line or balance beam to practice balance and stability.


9. Relay Running

     Dash over short distances, or have some fun racing friends in relay races to increase         speed and endurance.


10. Jumping Jacks

        Bodyweight exercise that gets you going and warm by elevating the heart rate.



11. Wheelbarrow Walk

        Use: A person should hold your legs while you walk on your hands so as to                          strengthen your arms and core.


12. Mountain Climbers

        In a plank position, bring your knees toward your chest in a running motion.                      Awesome for core and cardio.


13. Twister Stretching

         This activity combines the game of Twister with stretch poses. Emphasize 

          flexibility and body control.


14. Squat Jumps

        Squat and jump at top of squat, building leg strength and power.


15. Ball Toss

        Throw a soft ball up against the wall and catch it, or play catch with a partner to                build hand-eye coordination.


16. Bear and Crab Tag

         This can be an energetic aerobics exercise: run in bear style, on hands and feet; or             crab walk to chase the rest.


17. Animal Stretch

        The limbs can be stretched like a giraffe reaching up for leaves or like a cat                         stretching itself out.


18. Yoga Poses for Kids

        Include simple postures like tree pose, warrior, and downward dog. Balance them              and stretch.


19. One Leg Balancing

        Try balancing for as long as you can on one leg and add some challenges like                     closing the eyes or hopping.


20. Duck Walks

         Squat and walk low like a duck. It's funny training for the legs.


21. Tug of War

         Use a rope for friendly tug of war, build strength and teamwork.

 

22. High Knees

         Jog in place, lifting those knees up high as you can. It's super good for cardio and             core strength.

 

23. Skater Jumps

        Jump from one side to another just like a speed skater and end up jumping into a              lunge. It looks totally cool and works the leg strength and agility really well.


24. Side Lunges

        Take a step sideways and bend one knee so that the other leg will remain straight.               Leg Strength and Flexibility


25. Plank Challenge

        Try to maintain a plank for as long as you can. Start with 20 seconds and build from           there.


26. Balloon Bounce

         In the open field, throw a balloon in the air and try to prevent it from hitting the                 ground using hands, head, or feet.


27. Kickball

         Play kick ball with your friends. It is fun in terms of running, kicking, and                         teamwork.


28. Spider Crawls

         Lie on your stomach as if you were a plank. Crawling with your hands and feet like           spider one step at a time.


29. Silly Walks

         Stomp, tiptoe, or hop around the room in silly, exaggerated movements.


30. Yoga Stretch and Wind Down

        Finish off this fun exercise session with deep breathing and stretching to calm down          the entire body and mind.


These exercises will be light-hearted, in the spirit of play, and may even invite the notion of movement, so that children can have fun while being active.
